The Panthera Process

The Panthera process is simple, flexible, and built around you. It’s designed around three core pillars: Build, Train and Review. 

Build: Following onboarding and benchmarking, I will create your bespoke training plan working around your personal schedule.

Train: Over to you! This your time to put in the effort that will help you realise your goals.

Review: Whilst there are regular WhatsApp check-ins to tweak and adapt your plan, we’ll have a monthly video call to review your progress and look ahead.

Here’s what to expect when you choose to train with Panthera.

Onboarding Call

Before we get started, I’ll have a 30-60 minute video call with you to discuss your goals in depth. I’ll ask a number of questions about how much you currently run in an average week, whether you do any additional training (such as strength work in the gym or at home) and what your commitments are outside of running. We’ll also look at what your current barriers are to achieving your goals and work together on a strategy to help you get to where you want to be, in a way that works for you.

Benchmarking

After your onboarding call, you’ll then complete a few ‘benchmark’ runs to help me understand where your fitness is at. This will make it easier for me to build sessions that work for you and your abilities, ensuring you don’t go off too hard too soon.

Training Plan Build

Once we’ve benchmarked your current fitness levels, I’ll spend some time building out your first month of training. This will be entirely bespoke to you, working around your schedule meaning you don’t have to worry about finding time to train between work, family and social commitments. Your plan will also include run-specific strength and conditioning support (at home or in a gym environment), as well as advice on how to improve your running form to reduce injury risk.

Regular WhatsApp Check-Ins

I’ll be on hand whenever you need via WhatsApp, checking in regularly to ensure you’re following your plan and (most importantly) enjoying your training! If you need to make any tweaks or changes to your plan, or you have any questions about anything at all, I’m here to help you.

Monthly Video Calls

As well as regular check-ins, we’ll also make time for a monthly video call to review your progress towards your goals. We’ll use this time to talk about how you found the previous month of training, whilst looking ahead at what’s to come.

Ongoing Monthly Training

We’ll continue to cycle through the BUILD, TRAIN and REVIEW pillars, with regular check-ins and support throughout. I’ll build your schedule on a monthly basis, you’ll put in the training and we’ll review your progress towards your goals, making any necessary tweaks and changes where required.
